Starptautiskie līgumi

Ratificētie standarti ir starptautiskās konvencijas, kuras Latvija ir pieņēmusi, lai nodrošinātu atbilstību darba tiesību, drošības un citu nozīmīgu darba vides aspektu prasībām. Latvija ir ratificējusi 52 konvencijas un 2 protokolus, no kuriem spēkā ir 43, savukārt trīs konvencijas un viens protokols ir denonsēti, bet septiņi dokumenti atcelti. Ratificētie standarti ir sadalīti vairākās kategorijās:

  1. Pamatstandarti – 9 no 10, piemēram, piespiedu darba un vienlīdzīgas darba samaksas aizliegšana. Tie ir būtiski, lai aizsargātu cilvēktiesības darba vidē un veicinātu darba ņēmēju drošību un taisnīgumu.

  2. Pārvaldības standarti – 4 no 4, kas nodrošina darba inspekcijas, nodarbinātības politiku un trīspusējas konsultācijas starptautisko darba standartu sakarā.

  3. Tehniskie standarti – 39 no 177, kas attiecas uz specifiskiem darba apstākļiem un drošības prasībām, piemēram, darba laika un darba vides apstākļu regulējumu dažādās nozarēs.

Šo konvenciju un protokolu ratifikācija palīdz Latvijai nodrošināt augstākus darba aizsardzības, taisnīguma un cilvēktiesību standartus, kā arī veicina starptautisko sadarbību un atbilstību globālajām prasībām darba tirgū.
